Tynemouth MP Alan Campbell today marked his support for World Cancer Day by wearing the official Unity Band -; the symbol of World Cancer Day.
Now in its 19th year, the event, organised by Cancer Research UK aims to unite people all over the world in the fight against cancer. Alan said “I’m proud to support World Cancer Day. Cancer Research UK do an amazing job in working to encourage prevention, diagnosis and treatment of this terrible disease.”
