Tynemouth MP Alan Campbell used a debate in Parliament to attack the way some banks bully customers and complained about the lack of accountability by associations set up to maintain standards in the commercial and business financial sector. Alan Campbell MP said “Too many of my constituents find some of the banks are not there when they need them and the tactics they choose to protect their own profits put local businesses into difficulties.“
