Tynemouth MP Alan Campbell attended a Fair Trade coffee morning this weekend at St John’s Methodist Church in Cullercoats.

This year the event was the first of hopefully many events organised by the newly formed Coast Cooperative Local Forum as part of the Fair Trade Foundation’s annual Fair Trade Fortnight.

Alan Campbell MP said “I am always happy to support the work of the Fair Trade Foundation and I was pleased to see so many local residents there.  I wish the new Coast Cooperative Local Forum every success and I’d also like to thank Mark Ormston for his invaluable work in organising the event and in keeping Fair Trade on the local agenda”.
