I am pleased to share some positive news for our area.
We’ve secured funding for Percy Main through the Labour Government’s Pride in Place Programme.
It’s £20 million of long term funding – £2 million a year for the next decade.
The money can be spent on things like improving parks, fixing or removing empty buildings or keeping our streets clean and safe.
But it’s up to local people to decide how it’s spent.
Over the coming weeks we’ll be seeking local people’s views on what their priorities are.
