I am supporting Love Parks Week 2025 which is a great opportunity to celebrate that Preston Cemetery and Northumberland Park have retained their Green Flag Awards – the international quality mark for parks and green spaces.
The awards celebrate the best-managed parks across the UK and beyond, which set the benchmark for others to follow.
This year’s success recognises the hard work of the council staff and volunteers who maintain the borough’s green spaces throughout the year. It is especially gratifying to see how well loved Northumberland Park is after the regeneration
works which has been undertaken over the past ten years.
