It was fantastic to co-host with Google an event for local businesses, who attended a day of digital skills workshops and training events at the Exchange in North Shields.
As workplaces increasingly rely on digital technologies, without these skills, our workforce and our small businesses risk falling behind. We must ensure that every citizen, regardless of age or background, has access to the education and training needed to thrive in a digital world.
