t was a real honour to be at the unveiling of a blue plaque in memory of Henry Howard following the first ever National Fishing Remembrance Day at Fiddlers Green last Sunday.
It was very moving to see Henry’s granddaughter Courtney also mentioned. Between them they came up with the idea of Fiddler’s Green, now a key part of North Shields heritage.
