On Easter Sunday local MP Alan Campbell presented the medals at the North Tyneside 10k Road Race.
Alan said “Congratulations to Jacqueline Penn and Carl Smith both of North Shields Poly, home first in the NT 10K road race along our fabulous coast. Well done to all the runners and the organisers.
Congratulations also to Cllr Matt Wilson from Preston Ward in North Shields who finished in a very impressive time.”
