Cold weather payments have been triggered for NE25, NE26, NE27, NE28, NE29, NE30.
To trigger the payments, the average temperature at a specified weather station must be recorded as, or forecast to be, 0°C or below for seven consecutive days. This payment has been triggered for the period 15/1/2023 to 22/1/2023.

• income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
• income-related Employment and Support Allowance
• Universal Credit
• Support for Mortgage Interest
The payments are £25 – you do not need to claim, if you are eligible, you will be paid automatically.
