I was honoured to attend a service to mark Battle of Britain Day at the Cenotaph in Whitley Bay.

I laid a wreath at the annual service held at the Cenotaph on the Links in Whitley Bay. The service, organised by the British Legion is an important reminder of the air men who gave their lives to protect Britain in World War 2. Having not taken place last year due to the pandemic, this year’s service was especially poignant.
