North of Tyne Combined Authority have identified investment in Community Hubs/ Centres. In North Tyneside part of this investment will be a grant fund aimed at Community Centres in the borough and Tynemouth MP is encouraging eligible groups to submit a bid.
There are two different types of grants available:
Large Grants of up to £40,000 – only open to VCSE sector Community Centres with a turnover of £250,000 or more.
Small Grants of up to £5,000 – open to all VCSE sector Community Centres
They aim to award one large and two small grants in the four quarters of the borough.
