I have been in contact with a number of local residents who are concerned about incidents of anti-social behaviour in Whitley Lodge.
The incidents have been around Whitley Lodge Shops, the Briardene and around Whitley Bay Golf Course and I took this up with Northumbria Police.
Local police have now increased patrols and have identified a number of young people involved who have been returned to their parents and issued with warnings.
